Hello, I am Ujjayanta. I obtained my Masters in Computer Graphics, Vision and Imaging from University College London and my B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering from NIT Jamshedpur. I am currently researching human perception in VR.

Colour Perception: Mapping the Perceptual Limits of Surface Colour

The dissertation focussed on studying the perceptual limits of human vision and examining the sensitivity of human beings to shades of colours at maximum saturation, given a particular amount of lightness. A method was designed to study the similarity and differences between ideal optimal colour solids and psychological colour solids obtained from user studies.

Cryptographic Key Generation Scheme from Cancellable Biometrics

The cryptographic algorithms in current use are facing the problem of maintaining the secrecy of private keys. It is a major issue in asymmetric cryptography to remember, protect, and manage private keys. In this present work, there is an attempt to generate cryptographic key from the user’s cancellable fingerprint template.

A pair of private and public key is generated for RSA cryptosystems from cancelable biometric template. This cancelable template maintains the secrecy of fingerprint template and produce revocable key for asymmetric cryptography.
